Congratulations to the Sioux City Metro Area for its #1 Ranking from Bass Advertising. Site Selection magazine has ranked the Sioux CIty Metro Area as the number 1 Metro in the U.S. for Economic Development based on number of projects in communities with a population of under 200,000. Then, when you compare the Sioux City Metro to communities of up to 1,000,000, a ranking of number 9 in the nation would be given. In other words, the Sioux City Metro area is outperforming all but 8 communities that are up to 5 times its size! Bass Advertising is currently working with the Siouxland Initiative to promote this outstanding achievement to any and all who haven't already recognized the amazing vitality and growth that the Sioux City Metro area can provide for their business or industry! Congratulations to all economic developers, city governments, and chamber entities that made this happen! |

We're always in favor of growing the population of young people in Sioux City. The Sioux City Growth Organization (SCGO) is a a group dedicated to that very cause. This year SCGO will hold the 2nd Annual FreezeFest. Bass donated the design of a mascot, a logo and a poster to promote this fun event that is filled with fun winter games. The City of Sioux City Department of Economic Development The City of Sioux City Department of Economic Development has chosen Bass as their Advertising agency to create and produce a series of marketing materials that will be used as tools to market and advertise Sioux City to potential businesses and industries looking to grow or relocate. According to Austin Bass, creative director, “These materials have such a solid and bold image that once introduced to a potential site selector, Sioux City will stand out in their minds. Then, when they start looking at all of the great economic and quality of life benefits, Sioux City really takes the lead in a very competitive market. Sioux City sells itself!
